One of the most scenic parts of Scotland the Ayrshire coast consists of 80 miles of unspoiled coastal scenery. Steeped in history with its castles and links to William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and more recently associated with the poet Robert Burns, who was so inspired by the Ayrshire landscapes.

The Isle of Bute is a lovely place to explore. Only 15 miles long by 5 miles wide but with a remarkable diversity of landscapes and an intriguing Victorian main town, Rothesay.
