The Isle of Man is a special place. Britain's 'Treasure ilse'  is barely 60 miles from the mainland yet has its own currency, language and laws. Thousands of years of unique history reveal a turbulent past of viking invasions and medieval skirmishes. The Victorian seafront in Douglas is bordered by long promenades where traditional horse drawn trams sill operate. With beautiful coastal roads and inland the snaking TT course the island offers lots of interesting and picturesque places to visit.

The elegant Victorian Empress hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and is within walking distance of the town centre. All traditional bedrooms are well sized and have lovely soft furnishings.

Please note: Single room supplement £22.00 per night. Most bedrooms and public areas can be accessed via the main lift although some rooms are accessed via a few steps in the corridors or bedrooms as well. There are no walk in showers available.
